Read IPL Start Times in IST
Read the date and time-zone label before using an IPL start time. A website can show IST, UTC or a value adjusted to your device, so check the display before converting it.
Confirm the zone actually shown
India Standard Time is UTC+5:30. If the page already shows IST, do not add that offset again. If it says local time, check what location or device context the page uses before assuming it means your own location.

Work through a labelled example
An explicitly labelled 14:00 UTC converts to 19:30 IST on the same date. This example is a time conversion, not a match announcement. Around midnight, a conversion can also change the date, so keep date and time together.
Recheck the current fixture
A start time can change through scheduling updates or delays. Check the current IPL fixture and match status when timing matters. A poster or old saved tab is less useful than the present competition listing for a real event.
A useful next step
Use the IPL hub to connect schedule reading with match status. Check the official competition page for the specific fixture you plan to follow.
